We are all experiencing many different emotions right now considering all that is taking place with the new virus COVID-19. Some of us have been more impacted than others. You may have a loved one who has fallen ill, been sent home from work, or just under a lot of stress from it all.
It’s easy to have fear under such circumstances. During this time we should encourage each other knowing we all are in this trying time together. We may not all have the same issues arise, but we all feel some effect from it.
The Lord will carry us through this if we trust in him alone to do it. His word is true and he will not back away from his promises to his children. When David was troubled and having to hide in a cave from his enemies whom did he cry to. I hope we can learn from David that when we cry out to the Lord he will hear us and answer.
David later in Psalms says in Chapter 37 vs. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread. We are going to come through this and it will be the hand of the Lord that brings us out.
I think we all could just ask the Lord to show us what he wants us to learn from this time in history. He already has a plan, he is not caught off guard by what is happening. The answer may be different for each of us but it’s definitely worth taking the time to ask of him. What can we learn here Lord? What could need changing in my life right now? What can I do to help? What should I be telling my children during this time?
I think asking the Lord and seeking him in prayer will bring results. His word also says…If my people will humble themselves and seek my face turn from their evil ways…I will hear from heaven and I will heal their land. He never goes against his word. He will do exactly what he said.
I know I’m going to pray about some things in my own life and seek direction from him. He has been so good to me and I have been so blessed in my lifetime. I have had some hard times but he has brought me through every single time. He is faithful….even when we are not.
I pray during this time we come together and be an encouragement for each other. I pray we love and care for our neighbor as ourselves. I pray we get back to the basics of life and learn to have joy and peace in the simple things again. Love is the greatest action we can show right now. I know I have failed miserably at times showing it. Lord, I pray to help us all during this most difficult time. Help us to love our neighbor and to remember how blessed we are. Help us to seek you more in our day to day. Give us your peace and protection. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and
Be blessed my friends!!!!
